OK, I've modified the thread title to reflect the new direction of this thread. I will try and use this thread as a bit of a photo showcase for the Whey Consortium and their 'Whey HQ' strongman training compound; I will use some nice photos, the likes of which will graphically illustrate the many unsavoury characters celebrities who have - and continue - to come through the doors for a workout Most all of the photos are not mine, I've simply Googled for them and have fuck all idea from where they originate; thusly if any copyright issues arise, PM me and I'll remove or credit as per the owners wishes Whilst not taken at the Whey HQ itself, this first picture features some golden grip bollockery from grip master David Horne - a regular visitor to the Whey HQ; To note: comprising of Mobster, Loz, Nick Mckinless, followed closely by Dunkster, H et al, the Whey HQ currently boasts the largest group of grip talent anywhere In this photo, David Horne is taking center stage, as Mobster Gardener looks on from stage right:  |

Worth a mention, as we have done in the past, is that nigh on all the regulars would have made the all time top 50 pinch list. The above photo, I think, shows David's 113-kilos best from last year. This has since been raised a notch to the new current WR 115-kilos or so. |

The Horne pic above was taken using my camera (my mate Alf's better half Tania took it) and this one is another of mine taken by myself down at Minehead a few short days ago. |

But the looks we get normally were surpassed by even more due to the Polish photographer and his crew complete with reflector panels etc down on that day. It would have been awesome to have had a shot of Shawn nigh on doing himself an injury as he went ass over tit trying to lap the big stone but we, once we knew he was ok, were too busy laughing  |
