In 2004 Pudzianowski was banned form the event in the caribean somewere lol but this wasnt due to drugs, but it was because the ifsa are struggling to keep control over WSM super series.
here is an article i found good read i think.
IFSA is playing a powergame here. Mariusz is being punished for several things. First is his support of Dymek in the war with IFSA and the old federation in Poland. Second is Mariusz's financial independence. To say that this is good news for the others is plain wrong. Mariusz is making a lot of money off private endeavours that the IFSA want a slice of. Mariusz is being punished because he is too independent. This is not good news for anyone.
Mariusz, Dymek and the Polish federation have left the IFSA and will no longer work with them. IFSA will collapse and next year's WSM will not be organized by the IFSA. Dymek has confirmed this. Nest year the resurrected Super Series will have one GP in Poland. Now, how can a fed that has left the IFSA organize a Super Series GP? Simple, just like the WSM, the Super Series will not be associated with the IFSA. There are BIG changes happening here folks. You are getting the tip of a huge iceberg.
This has all been a powergame and there are big things at stake behind the scenes. Dont believe the crap fed to you by the IFSA about drugs testing. They are hanging on for dear life.
Read the following press release. No mention of IFSA anywhere.
Press Release 2004-12-23
THE WORLD`S STRONGEST MAN SUPER SERIES
TWI & World Class Events (WCE) have an agreement in place to work
together on strongman events from 2005 onwards in order to move the sport forward.
WCE has successfully run a Super Series consisting of several events in
the past couple of years. TWI owns and runs the World's Strongest Man
event and has done so for nearly 30 years.
WCE will be re-launching its Super Series starting with the Arnold
Classic in March 2005. The new Super Series will be re-named "The
World's Strongest Man Super Series" and will have at least 4 events that
will become part of the qualifying vehicle for The World's Strongest Man
from 2005 onwards. All WSM and WSM Super Series events will be broadcast
on ESPN and other contracted TV Channels around the world.
Any athlete will be eligible for applying to enter The World's Strongest
Man Super Series.
Further details of this relationship will be available in due course and
more information will be distributed at that time.
Graham Fry, TWI Director of Programming and Production said: "For the
first time there will be a structured calendar of events leading up to
The World's Strongest Man in the autumn of 2005. This is good news for
the sport of strongman and TWI are delighted to be part of it."
Ulf Bengtsson, former professional bodybuilder and founder of World Class
Fitness and World Class Events, said: "To continue to work with the
Arnold Classic and to have a new partnership in place with TWI is very
exciting. This is a good move forward for the strongman sport and will
bring to it the attention that it deserves."
Jim Lorimer, Director of the Arnold Classic Weekend, founded by Lorimer
and Arnold Schwarzenegger 30 years ago, says, "We will have 14,000
athletes in 16 sports taking part in the 2005 Arnold Classic, and for
the past three years the ten giants who compete in the Arnold's
Strongest Man contest have drawn the largest crowds and the most
applause. Arnold and I are very happy that our contest will serve as
the kick-off event in the newly created World's Strongest Man Super
Series on ESPN."

Now, from Dymek himself:
As you can see IFSA are not mentioned anywhere. Mariusz's ban, which was the tip of the iceberg, led to revealing the situation... by the way, one of the 4 Super Series events mentioned will be held in Poland.
The suspensions imposed on Mariusz and myself were unjustified so we left IFSA. IFSA will no longer have anything to do with Polish athletes, competition and federation. IFSA are not mentioned in Ironmind's news and that's because IFSA will not be the ones organizing next year's World's Strongest Man, nor would they be co-organizers of Arnold Classic. In their greed they lost everything. History repeats itself, first it was the former Polish federation, now it's IFSA.
After last year's experience we warned everyone, however some of the other competitors were fooled by the promises to pay them $75,000 to compete for IFSA. It remains to be seen if the ones invited to Arnold Classic will compete since competing there may get them in trouble with IFSA. I personally think that after reading the latest news even the most loyal competitors will leave IFSA. What was announced today, Mariusz and myself knew since the competition in Sweden."
Get it?
Mariusz did not fail any drugs test. Mariusz was banned from a dying federation because of politics and power struggle. Mariusz it seems, has once again been a catalyst for big changes. One year ago he and Dymek killed StrongmanPolska and forced the IFSA to reinstate Jarek. This time they will kill the IFSA and force huge changes on the international change. Mariusz is finally the guy who will make the IFSA pay. They finally found their assassin
