August 23rd. So the guys do some axle press. S'ok, not too much of a strain. A little farmers work with one or two hitting well over 120-kilos. Loz raises the platform to 59-inches and does some stone work. All good.
A look of concentration on H's face
But then they make a mistake. New boy Craig, ex-para, becomes a veritable dark horse. They decide to 'carry these two barrels back and forth... lets aim for ten times'. Sounded like a good idea... for a while...
It's only half way through and Carl looks like it might have been a case of 'Me? Bite off more than I can chew? Whatever gave you that idea'
Three quarters of the way there (rep 6 or 7) and like looks like a bucket will be required. He has that slightly white sheen on top of the usual purple faced effect. Bucket for Mr Betty!
Even Loz, our BSM and WSM level monster looks as though he's feeling the strain. He made it to level 8.
But what's this. Having swapped his army rucksack and 20+ k romps across Dartmoor for a 100-kilo barrel across our yard Craig looks as fresh as the day is long. A little sweat on his brow, slightly out of breath but DOES ALL TEN!
