Steve, being new to gripper training, I have bought a cheap pair for warming up the hands, I have also bought the capt crsh no1 and no2, what do you recommend training wise with these, how many days, sets reps etc ?

Initially what ever works for the rest of the body, be that 5 x 5, 2 x 8 or whatever will work for your hands. The hands can take a greater volume and higher reps (I do loads of singles on volume days). But with the easier grippers and as you are starting out just use a simple program.
Later on we'll get into it more. Again, as per the other thread, check my log and Dunksters as he is doing grippers.

Well the grippers arrived, I can close the No1 ok, not quite the No2.
Will be doing the training with grippers three times a week, warm up with light weak ones for 2 sets 10 reps then do the No1 for 3 sets 5 reps. Once I`m used to the No1s and an do these easily enough I`ll use the No1s for warm ups and use No2s for workout then buy the 3s and 4s I s`pose.
Build up the sets too on each Number gripper to 5x5 before moving up to next number.

I would go for the 2.5s before buying the 3s as it's too much of a jump.

Sanga emailed me earlier to say his grip has seen great improvement all round. Sweet!

Any recent updates, Sanga? Curious how that 5X5 routine is going for you on the grippers...I've done a bit with grippers myself.
