Have a look at this vid. A guy (we'll call him Mall Man) is at the shopping mall, and upon returning to his 'safely locked up bicycle, happens across a 'dawg' of whom happens to be in the process of stealing said bicycle belonging to Mall Man: vimeo.com/12623919Now, if you read mall mans blog comments, he claims he is being stalked by an unidentified group and seems to blame this and the bike theft on the what he calls Internet and social networking "political" factors. Quotes from mall man: "This is a glimpse of politics in the age of social networking, politics as organized crime."
"This is a window into local politically motivated stalking campaigns."
"Group and cause stalking is a technologically fueled cultural manifestation of the the explosion of social networking, email, list serves forums etc.
It's cultural politics, plain and simple. So take your pick, there's a lunatic fringe on both sides in the US and LA and Long Beach CA."Finally he links to an article about "right-wing violence". At no point does he mention any other observable group dynamic factors. I get the impression that this guy is a liberal leftist having trouble coming to terms with what life in a plural society actually means and grasping at straws for an explanation which will fit his world view without reference to the obvious racial element. What say you?

I say he's in denial. He got turned over by thieves and rather than face reality he's clutched at straws. Victims do this all the time... 'if only I hadn't X, Y or Z'. Either that or what he's smoking has some kick. I'd have preferred to have read: 'so when I came upon said scroat I basically fucked him up'. Followed by 'I may have over done it a little... I feel ashamed as X can now barely walk' added with a sly grin
