After viewing the replies this subject has generated across various boards, the thing I find amusing is the opinion wherein the death of Marunde (good name for a play) is thought to be 'shocking' ' a surprise' ' never would have thought' etc
Jesse Marunde may have been a lovely bloke, his family will be going through great sadness at this time, thusly, considered condolences are indeed valid
What gets on my tits however, is that meme wherein toolbags across the many message boards seem compelled to send off pat best wishes and prayers to someone they have rarely thought about, much less known personally
Can someone - after a brief employing of Occams razor - explain what is 'shocking' or 'surprising' about this particular death?
Where is the 'jack in the box' factor with the death of a man who eats five pounds of food everyday? a 300+lb guy who does his lipids no favours whilst running the gauntlet of a pro level juice regime
As surprises go, its not exactly on par with some cunt jumping out from behind a door whilst shouting 'BOO' thus causing me to heavily shit myself
The inconsistancy of opinion that is aired when a given sport results in the death of a star is truly fascinating
For example, on the one hand, for knackering his kidneys and taking himself to deaths door (he nearly died for you bitches) bodybuilding hall of famer Tom Prince is a wanker, yet on the other hand, for wrapping himself around a concrete tower at 200mph, Formula One monkey Ayrton Senna is Godlike?
Likewise, Alison Hargreaves (who died whilst climbing K2 thus leaving several children without a mum) is a bellend, yet Marunde, whilst engaging in the above lifestyle choices, is a hero?
Marunde was free to do that which he wanted, that isnt the issue here, I could give a tuppenny toss either way, it is the comical inconsistancy the many commentators show that leaves me soiling my drawers
Inconsistancy on the part of the many tiny tits who have fuck all knowledge of the dirty aspects of the game, and similarly so on the part of the 'doped up to fuck' clowns (with HDL levels that would scare the shit out of Bernard Manning) who elect to pursue the high octane life sunday league strongman provides
By the way, its nice to see the guys over at Brawn Conversation Forum (after ripping the piss out of Marunde for ages) now electing to rim the guy ad nauseum, classy
Remember kids, talk about anything LEGAL
I bet Dan Duchaine is laughing his tits off
