It's not too bad just when the sweat was getting in it at work it stung and the pressure of the hard grippers wasn't the nicest, but I heal quick so fuck it. ;D

Use some of hand cream in the unit. Keep them moisturized - just a tint dab will do. When such wounds are on the fingers (as opposed to the palm) the same applies but I then keep em clean with zinc oxide tape. I take the tape off only for max weight sets and then only if need be. Everyones hand (palm side more so) and skin on the hand heal quickly as it is, for want of a better pharse, a high use area. Ditto skin on the base of your foot. As in a week. Elsewhere might take two. Eleswhere will scar but the hand stuff becomes nigh on invisible.

Still waiting to hear back from Wannagrip to see if it has passed the judges or not, fingers crossed. I have noticed since the 1 hand lift on Monday that my left lat has been hurting again, same place as the injury. I felt it a bit in the last set but just put it down to fatigue. Will have to keep an eye on it. I also had 'Over The Top' delivered today. After seeing it mentioned on the grip board the other day I thought I have to watch this again, it's a classic! So if anyone wants a copy let me know. It's good watching the old cheesy ones! ;D

If, as I advised the other day and knowing only too well how hard it can be, you can keep that part of the body still during one hand lifts then it should be ok.

Saturday
What with experiencing life as a house husband I have been unable to get a proper session in tonight. Had to wait until 11pm when both the kids had dropped off to sleep to get the grippers out. Feeling pretty knackered but that's no excuse not to do something.
Grippers
HG300 B/H 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1 overcrushes for between 6 to 10 seconds.
I would of liked to have done my negatives on the #4 but I think me yelling and cursing, state of emergency stylee, in the garage at this time of night would have guaranteed the kids not staying asleep for long.

Monday
Got a cold coming on today, didn't want to think about too much but I think it took something away from me tonight as things felt a lot harder than they should of.
Bench Press
60x6 80x6 105x5 105x5 105x5
Definitely felt tough this one, but I'm sure that's just the cold as it felt more like a energy transference issue than strength issue.
2 Hand Pinch
24x6 36.5x2 46.5x2 59x5 59x5 74x1 PB 75.25x1 PB 76.5x1 PB 77.75x1 PB 79x1 PB ;D 80.25xf,f
Had to attempt some high singles as for some reason the voices in my head were telling me 'the program's not gonna work', and I had to satisfy myself that it was, and that I was improving.
Dips
Bodyweight 3x6
Shoulder Press
20x10 50x6 70x5 70x4 70x4 70x3
By this time my cold was winning and I had lost my fire and time was in short supply. I needed 3x5 but couldn't muster it so added an extra 3 reps just to keep the percentages about right. Back still sore but I think the fact I have rested it for a week has to be helping it.
