That's it last day of looking after the kids, be back on track Monday. Pisses me off not being able to stick to my routine but family has to come first, I've been told. On the plus side I got my Mash Monster t shirt today, which is cool, but still waiting on the RB grippers and V-bar.

EZ bench #4 severe negatives 5 each hand
Getting closer to fully closed on these, aided by the static point I do them from(19 stone 7lbs comes in handy), went for quality over quantity today, squeezed the fuck out of the #4 for as long as I could then resisted all the way. Wasn't a scheduled gripper day but all I have time for.
HG100 R/H 90 reps, 70 reps L/H 69 reps, 50 reps all done fully open and closed.
No more bending for a while again. Just did the couple this week while I was unable to do my other stuff as a treat.

Got 4 of my RB grippers through today my 240, 260, 330n and 300 but he is out of 210's at the mo so have to wait for that one. My v bar didn't arrive yet, f**king royal mail! Should be here tomorrow as they were dispatched at the same time. As it's grippers tonight I might try the 240 choked up cuz it's definitely harder than the #3 a bit. And now I've got some to use for negatives easier than the #4.

Unable to train last night due to being on call a day early. Managed to sneak off a bit earlier today as Cat rang to say my V bar had arrived. Had to try and get a session in before any jobs come through because the bar was just begging me ;D R/H L/H 50 50 80 80 100 90 100 90 100 100 105 100 110 105 110 105 110 105 Had a couple more attempts after this but it was slipping. Couldn't get any more on the bar at 110, seeing as I only have 8x10kg, 4x5kg discs and some 2.5's. Need to get me some 20's or 15's. Not that it would of mattered today as it still needs more seasoning and 110 is the best I've ever got anyway, so I'm happy! ;D I'll proceed with more seasoning every time I walk past the garage. Here's a pic of my new loaded up vbar.

That looks like it has a ton of chalk already on it - how did you get it that way? The other v-bar hasn't taken much chalk as yet.

Instead of trying to rub it on up and down motion I held it over the bucket, filled my hand with chalk and turned the bar round and round squeezing hard and it gradually picked it up. Must be more friction created because of the way they are turned as the FBBC bar is soild. I reckon you could get mega numbers on this bar.

Getting a really unusual clicking in right wrist when I do these and you can see the bones or tendons on the underside of my wrists jumping out when it clicks. Doesn't feel good.

Wednesday
Got home about 7pm set to do my training and the callout phone goes straight away with an old lady with no heating crying down the phone to me which kind of messed up my concentration but I had to try and get some grippers in as i knew she wouldn't freeze to death in an hour, but no chance of me getting into my proper state of mind knowing I had to rush out after. Be so glad when this week is over.

Before my last few reps the neighbour came round to moan about the noise I was making after each rep when the weight was banging on the floor. She said she kept on hearing loud thuds in pairs then quiet and said her dog barked every time I did it. But I just told her she only has to put up with it on Friday nights and not to worry, and she didn't know what to say about it. ;D

Unable to come down the unit yesterday as my Mum made a surprise visit, first time she's seen the kids in a year, so we spent the afternoon together which was cool. SundayDumbbell Wrist Curls 1 3/4" handle 11x20 20x10 20x9 20x8 20x8 20x18 20x10 All weights are minus handle. When ever I try any wrist curls my right wrist is still popping the tendons out when I do it. My left lat is still painful all day, it was even painful after the v-bar on Friday, which wasn't heavy, so I'm just hoping it will improve or at least hold out or I'm not gonna be putting in the performance I had hoped for In the British. This will really hamper any practise I can put in for the one hand lift as pulling anything over 100 one handed seems to cause a hell of a lot of pain then and after. And I thought the 3 months I had off cured it . I think after the comp I will concentrate on grippers, 2 hand pinch, wrist roller and rolling thunder and anything else that doesn't involve heavy one handers at least for a while to allow for some more healing. But I'm determined to do the best I can in the comp. I won't settle for anything less than top 3. And if only 3 enter the novice then what a result ;D
