once i go over 125kg i do it like svend Karlson does on his dvd. i use a reverse grip and pull it up as high as poss. not done it much before but trying 2 get my pressing better as its crap at the mo.
hows your training going?

Shit. Going to take a week or two off. probley till i come down next. Just deleted a vid clip by mistake which i was going to post for tec advie. Missed a 300kg platform Deadlift. First time i've watched myslef, and to me it looked the worse form i 've ever seen. real RDL. I know strongman isn't pretty, but this was really ulgy. something need to work on. Did mangered approx 207 kg Atlas stone lap twice on monday, but that's the only happy news the pat few weeks.

take a week off. remember not 2 go really heavy all the time other wise you will burn out. remember that you wana be at your best for comps next year so plan ot a training programe so you peak next summer.
my grip is ok. i can close a CoC3. im better at strongman grip e.g holding weights for time than grip events. im sure i will lift the millenium soon. hope 2 see you down training soon mate. take care

i enjoyed doing the loading race. stones were crap but i think it will help in the long run doing it without tacky.

what a sesh we all had 2day. events farmers. steve and H said i should go heavy as i keep saying i can lift 200 farmers. went for 190's per hand and did 3 meters. its a nice weight 2 have off the floor. next was log lift 90kg x 1 clean 5 presses 110kg x 1 clean 5presses 125kg x 1 clean 3 presses 150kg x 1 clean 0press 150kg x 1 clean 0press (it was close, steve has a pic) log clean 170kg conans circle 120kg x 1 lap 200kg x 3laps 260kg x 1lap 300kg x 1lap stones just messing about shouldering the 110kg for some pics Had a go with the 250kg stone (not sure that its that heavy) i got it about 8 inches up. i think i could lap it, not so sure about loading it but you never know. H, Nick, mike and steve were all buzzing 2day. its great having a good group 2 train with. thanks 2 steve for the help with the pics
