7/10/06 LOG 77K X 1 77K X 1 87K X 1 YOLK 150K X 35 MTRS 230K X 25 MTRS 270K X 12.5 MTRS (CRAP) 310K X 12.5 MTRS 350K X 3 STEPS PB FARMERS 70K X 30 MTRS PASSED ON 90K 110K X 15 MTRS 150K X 5.60 MTRS PB :woohoo STONES 110 140 170 LAPPED (Failed to load) X 3 Made the excursion to the Whey Warehouse for the second week in a row Full house this WK : TT Mobster Cougarman Oscar Dale `Welshdragon`Norris Martin `Gayboy` Simon Jones Simon Jones (only his second events sess) J `BEEF` Me. Log was shite as usual but got a few tips from TT & Dale so hopefully my log should go up soon. Yolk was a beast swaying everywhere, very unstable. Managed a PB so you`ve got to mark it down as ok i suppose. Farmers was something i wanted to get sorted.I had a number in my head that i wanted .Came off the floor very, very slowly but once going it started to tear my arms from my shoulders & the skin off my hands.VERY HARD. Stones were nothing to write home about, same as last week really could lap the 170 but just couldn`t get that extra bit to pop it onto the platform. What another great day in `THE WHEY WAREHOUSE` all the welsh boys put in a sterling effort. Martin `Gayboy` is going to be real force to reckon with at the UK`s. Simon Jones on only his second events sess managed to mash his knee & was left to hobble around ,but was mad enough to try & strap it up & gave the yolk a go Mike B mashed a real good log. Mobster was in R/T mode & pulling some good numbers. Beef was amazed at the talent on display, but put in a massive effort to smash all his PB`s .Gave it a good go at high diving over the farmers as well Simon Jones gave 110% & wrestled with everything until he was totally spent. TT was just spectating as he`s competing in Ireland on sun. GOOD LUCK TT !

Will add a few more sets to my seated press & skulls. Well i finally took the plunge & did a few extra reps on the log. Nearly killed me & working it out it wasn`t that many sets. Hopefully this should help my tech & get my log up. Quite pleased with this sess, for once I think my shoulders will know i trained tomorrow

SAT 14/10/06 SLED DRAG 85K X 20 MTRS 125K X 20 MTRS 165K X 20 MTRS 205K X 20 MTRS 250K X 6.85 MTRS STONES 100,110,120 & 130K ONTO 55" PLAT PB 140K - 55" 150K - 48" PB(Highest platform with this weight) My lower back is fubared (bloody front squats ). Wrist hurting . I think this is is a result of training at PB level for the last 3-4 wks ,so i thought i`d go easier today as i was training alone . I think my lack of bodyweight is affecting things like my sled drag. When doing the 250 sled i kept slipping on my arse due to dust on the driveway. I think next time i`ll sweep up first. My lats were feeling real bashed when i kept trying to pull the sled from a dead stop. Chuffed with stones. The 150 nearly killed me ,but i was determined to get it up . Just about 3" from loading the 150 & my left hamstring popped Next week try 110,120,130,140 & 150 or maybe try repping the 140/150

Had to strap up my left hamstring as it`s still nowhere near healed, ended up using an old knee support . Took log from a bench height as well so as not agrivate my leg. The log was sliding everywhere on my coat Massive strict press My shoulder is still playing up so i didn`t want to push it too hard, but it`s feeling better than last week. All in all i`m quite happy with my workout.Added another 2.5k to my log & if i keep that up for a while i should be getting there.Cant wait for heavy log sat .

SAT 21/10/06 LOG 65K X 5 65K X 5 75K X 1 80K X 1 90K X 1 95K X 1 100K X 0 (Pressed to eye level twice) 100K X 0 (Cocked clean up) 100K X 0 (Felt it going out instead of up ) FARMERS HOLDS 80K X U/T 120K X 19 SECS 130K X 11 SECS 130K X 30.8 SECS Very short sess today as i`m still nursing my hamstring & Beef has a heavy cold & sore throat. Log was done from a bench ,which through me right out of sink. Farmers done in rack .My rack is crap & so i had to stand on plates to get the right height.Couldn`t get my feet right. I can draw some positives from this sess though,my hamstring held out & i`m quietly confident that my log press is getting better. Onwards & upwards .

Only just made the 85 x 2 on the log.Just couldn`t get it settled on my chest ? Tried lifting my 120 stone tonight up onto the platform to get it out the way, soon shelved that idea as bending down to get my hands around the stone i could feel my ham pulling.Hopefully if i do 18" deads & high squats again it shouldn`t affect my ham. Weighed TC tonight & he weighs 180k
